These photos were taken after the 9:00 Mass during the procession to the Belmar Marina where Father Ed, accompanied by Father Dave and a large number of parishioners — young and old alike — blessed the waters and the fleet. Prayers were also offered for the safety of all those who sail the seas. This Marian devotion traces back to the 1400’s.

  1. Thank you, Fr. Ed and Fr. Dave, for the Mass and the Procession to the Marina. I walked with my family and was so moved by the expression of our faith and its traditions. To see the people in the streets and stores stop to watch and listen to our prayers (the Rosary) was very moving. I couldn’t help but be touched by the freedom we possess and thought of others who are being persecuted for the same faith. We are blessed and this procession was a beautiful reminder of them. Thank you again. I pray we will continue this and never be afraid to publicly express and live our faith in Jesus and his Mother Mary.
